Charlotte power companies team with Durham startup on no-carbon power plant

NET Power CEO Bill Brown outlines plans for a 50-megawatt demonstrator project for his company's zero-emissions power plant at E4 Carolinas new Emerging Energy Technology Series. Toshiba and Chicago Bridge & Iron are partnering with a Durham energy startup to develop a near zero-carbon emissions natural gas plant in a $140 million demonstrator project to be built with Exelon Corp. Bill Brown , CEO of Durham-based NET Power , outlined the project at the first presentation for E4 Carolinas' new Emerging Energy Technology Series.
