Published in Optical Materials Express, "Formation of three-dimensional carbon microstructures via two-photon microfabrication and microtransfer molding," presents results from Japanese scientists who used micro-sculpting techniques and new resin to create bacterium-sized sculptures. Material can be molded into complex, conductive 3D structures with features that are a few micrometers across, enabling creation of conductive materials in complex shapes at microscopic or cellular level.
