PACIFIC GROVE >> The $12 million awarded to Chelsie Hill on Friday by a jury is one of the largest verdicts reached in Monterey County, attorney Bob Rosenthal said. Toyota Motor Corp., however, remains "confident" the lap belt did not cause her injuries despite the jury's decision that it did.
