China Telecom H1 net profit grows 11.8%

(Telecompaper) China Telecom reported first-half revenues of CNY 165.9 billion, which represents an increase of 5.3 percent from CNY 157.5 billion in June 2013. EBITDA slightly increased by 0.8 percent year-on-year to CNY 50.5 billion, with EBITDA margin at 33.8 percent at 30 June. Net profit rose 11.8 percent to CNY 10.4 billion. Capital expenditure amounted to CNY 23.1 billion while free cash flow reached CNY 23.9 billion.
