Chiquita merger comes as port lease on new facilities negotiated

Port Executive Director Jonathan Daniels said Tuesday he will be in touch with tenant Chiquita Brands International about what its merger with Irish fruit company Fyffes means for the port, but he hadn't talked to company representatives yet.
