Chr. Hansen Inc., a Denmark-based biosciences company that has major operations in the Milwaukee area, said Monday it is acquiring a suburban Kansas City-based supplier of probiotic products for beef cattle in a deal valued at $185 million. "Demand for natural solutions that advance health and productivity in the livestock industry is on the rise and the expected growth for microbial solutions in this industry is 7-9%," Chr.
