Christensen Farms responds to video release

Christensen Farms & Feedlots, Inc. announced last week that it had suspended seven employees after allegations of possible improper animal care at one of its hog farms located near Luverne, Minnesota. Today LCA, a Los Angeles-based group, released a video depicting animal mistreatment from that farm.   “There is absolutely no place at Christensen Farms or in this industry for violations of animal welfare,” Christensen Farms CEO Glenn Stolt said. “As a family farm, the care and treatment of our animals is our highest priority. read more
