As wireless operators continue consolidate networks through acquisitions, roll out 4G LTE and make way for 5G wireless, they are also shutting down legacy wireless network technologies. Whether it's CDPD, iDEN, CDMA or WiMAX, a number of key wireless operators including T-Mobile , Sprint , and AT&T Mobility are in some stage of shutting down their legacy wireless network infrastructures.
