Cirrus Logic shares skyrocket after strong Q2 earnings

Shares of Cirrus Logic Inc. sharply increased Thursday following the company's first-quarter earnings that included a more than 85 percent rise in revenue. Cirrus Logic shares surged more than $5 and reached $37.25 - a 20 percent increase - during the day before settling at $35.72 at the end of trading in a late-day selloff to close up 16 percent.
