City of Gladewater issues boil water notice

The city says heavy rainfall has caused excessive runoff and sedimentation into Lake Gladewater causing a mechanical failure at the Water Treatment Plant. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the water system to notify customers to boil their water prior to consumption.
