Press TV: A top US military official says climate change is the biggest security threat in the Pacific region, a report says.
Navy Admiral Samuel J. Locklear III, the US Pacific Forces top commander, said in an interview recently reported by the Boston Globe newspaper that he considers rising sea levels as the top security threat.
Locklear added that the sea levels would cripple the security environment, probably more likely than the other scenarios we all often talk about.
