Coast Guard in Buffalo hosting Armed Forces Week festivities

A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter and ice-breaking cutter that patrol the Great Lakes will be in Buffalo to help kick off the 55th annual Western New York Armed Forces Week . The U.S. Coast Guard station on the Lake Erie waterfront in Buffalo is hosting the celebration, which opens with a ceremony at 12:45 p.m. Sunday at Canalside.
