Available in ½, 7/8, and 1 1/8 in. sizes, XT Cobalt Step Bits drill clean, smooth holes through stainless steel (and other materials). High-speed steel construction features cobalt additive for resistance to heat and abrasion created by drilling. Split point tip eliminates walking and penetrates 10GA stainless steel in <10 sec, while dual-flute design, which has 2 cutting edges that share load, allows accelerated cuts with less force. Steam oxide finish enables cooler running and longevity.
