April 16: Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, from left; Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank; and MLS Commissioner Don Garber announce Atlanta's getting MLS team. The Atlanta-based beverage behemoth replaces New York-based PepsiCo Inc. as the official non-alcoholic beverage of MLS and the official governing body of U.S. soccer.
