Columbus commissioners to consider $3.5 million incentives for International Paper

International Paper could receive nearly $3.5 million from Columbus County taxpayers in exchange for installing a new production line at its Riegelwood plant. Columbus County Economic Development Director Gary Lanier is asking the board to schedule a public hearing to get input on the proposal.
