Comcast, Netflix sign multi-year interconnection deal

(Telecompaper) Netflix will provide improved video services to Comcast's US broadband customers after the companies signed a mutli-year interconnection agreement. Comcast and Netflix have established a more direct connection to deliver an improved customer experience and to allow for future growth in Netflix traffic. Netflix receives no preferential network treatment under the agreement, the companies said. The terms of which were not being disclosed.
