Slat design enables Qompact roll shutter to be curled into tight coil. Curtain is divided into groups of different sized slats. As roll gets larger, slat size adjusts so that hinges sit next to each other (adjoining) instead of on top of each other (stacking). Shuttter meets FBC hurricane compliance, and FBC allowable max widths are available up to 19 ft 6 in. (up to 166 in. at 100 psf). While max height of 15 ft fits in 8 in. box housing, most shutters up to 122 in. tall fit in 6.5 in. box.
