Contract approved to replace Bluffton Township Fire District's fleet

The Bluffton Township Fire District will receive a new fleet, and officials say it will save money by selling the current one. Beaufort County Council approved Monday a $4.1 million contract with Roebuck-based Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus, Inc. to provide the district with 10 new engines.
