County approves bid to operate waste transfer station

Effective Jan. 12, the Medina County Central Processing Center in Westfield Township will be operated as a waste transfer station. Six companies submitted bids to county commissioners to operate the recycling center as a transfer station and on Tuesday they chose Dover, Ohio-based Kimble Companies.
