After a long public hearing that spanned two meetings, the Board of Selectmen granted a liquor license to a proposed craft beer house that was met with a great deal of both criticism and support. Vinal Square's Craft Beer House and Premium Liquors, proposed by local real-estate agent Joe Ready at 11 Vinal Square, was granted an all-alcohol package store license on a 3-1 vote.
