Cummins Inc. said it's possible that certain minerals that finance conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country could have been received from suppliers and used in its products. The company filed a conflict minerals report Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission that details its analysis of where minerals received from suppliers originated, and steps Cummins is taking to improve its conflict minerals program.
