Addressing requirements of battery monitoring in energy storage systems, SFP100 measures bi-directional DC current across resistive shunt, provides internally-accumulated coulomb counting information, and offers voltage measurement. AECQ100-qualified IC also measures temperature at 4 points utilizing two 24-bit sigma delta ADCs. Utilizing SFP100, ultra-low resistance and low-power consumption shunts can be used in field to measure currents ranging from kiloamperes to milliamperes.
