Type 27 narrow-crown technology is available on all 4½ and 5 in. ZIPCUT, ZIP+, ZIP Stainless, and ZIP ALU cutting wheels. In addition to extending cutting wheel service life, Type 27 narrow crown technology incorporates metal cladding in center hub that allows for increased cutting depth. Metal cladding also maximizes safety by preventing contact with work piece, which thereby increases worker safety when cutting into metal.
