With one-piece design that facilitates installation, DS1 DC current sensors can be powered by 10–28 Vdc and use same circuit as one being controlled. Separate source may also be used as long as circuit being controlled uses same ground. Featuring solid state contact, sensors can also be used as non-intrusive safety interlock method to keep personnel safe, as alarm contact to indicate when load is operating or when it is not energized, and to detect PV system leakage.
