Changes include formatting, diagrams and references. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has released the latest iteration of its model specification for LED roadway luminaires. The DOE creates model specs to help specifiers make sure all the relevant and necessary details and parameters are included in their specifications. In DOE’s words, the model specification “enables cities, utilities, and other state and local agencies to assemble effective bid documents for LED street lighting products.” read more
