Dallas, Delta and Southwest ask judge to deny feds' request for delay in Love Field gate fight

2015-09-23 17:12:58| Airlines - Topix.net

Unless U.S. District Judge Ed Kinkeade sides with the Department of Transportation before week's end, attorneys representing the city of Dallas, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and the feds will meet in a Dallas federal courtroom next week to decide - for now, at least - Delta's future at Love Field. A preliminary injunction hearing has been on the books since early August in this complex, increasingly contentious battle over two of the 20 gates at the city-owned airport that Southwest controls and Delta wants to continue using.
