Designed for endovascular occlusion of peripheral vessels, AZUR® CX Peripheral Coil System has unique coil construction with hydrogel on inside for soft, flexible design. Hydrogel technology creates scaffold for neointimal growth formation and allows mechanical occlusion of vessel with less reliance on thrombus for embolization. Deployed with minimal catheter manipulation, AZUR CX creates complex shape that optimizes cross-sectional coverage by filling vessel, leaving no gap in center.
