Details emerge in brutal killing of Hulen Mall store employee, allegedly by fired co-workers

Two former American Eagle Outfitters employees beat, bound, strangled and set afire a former co-worker who had identified them as possible suspects in an August theft at the store, according to court documents. After the slaying on Nov. 28, Fort Worth police believe Carter Carol Cervantez, 25, and her boyfriend, Clarence "David" Mallory, 19, stole Ashlea Ann Harris' keys to the Hulen Mall store, where she worked as an assistant manager, with plans to steal tens of thousands of dollars collected from Black Friday sales.
