Detroit council to hear from state on Moroun deal, Warren Evans on county finances

City Council on Tuesday is scheduled to revisit a land swap proposal involving a riverfront park and trucking magnate Matty Moroun's hopes for adding a second span to the Ambassador Bridge. The council postponed action on the deal last week, seeking more information, and representatives from the state Environmental Quality and Natural Resources departments are expected to speak at the 10 a.m. meeting.
