With EchoTherm™ HS30, all functions are set through front panel membrane keypad and custom LCD. Unit features 8 x 8 in. solid ceramic glass heater plates that can be heated from ambient to 450°C in less than 3 minutes. Stirring speed is 100–1,500 rpm and controlled by optical coupler to 10 rpm. Plate surface temperature or solution temperature can be controlled directly using PID control loop to 1°C of target. Using platinum RTD circuitry, accuracy is 1% of reading.
