Resistant to temperatures up to 175°F, GN 50.5 Retaining Magnet Assemblies with Tapped Hole are shielded and come in metric sizes. Mounting screws must be made of non-magnetic material to ensure magnetic forces are not impaired. For magnets with d1 diameter ≤40 mm, magnet surface is exposed. For d1 diameters ≥50 mm, magnetic surface of magnet is covered with technopolymer plastic (Polyamide PA) cap. Magnet housing is zinc-plated steel, and magnet is Neodymium, iron, and boron NdFeB (ND type).
