A recent study by Texas A&M University found that a combination of factors has led to a significant drop in the number of auction markets in the state. We have fewer auction markets in our area and have to haul cattle more miles to market. We have fewer auction markets, but our local market is still operating. We have the same number of auction markets as always and have multiple choices when marketing cattle. read more
