Docomo, Tomy to launch interactive conversational toy

(Telecompaper) Japanese mobile operator NTT Docomo and Tomy Company have jointly developed an interactive voice-activated toy dubbed 'OHaNAS'. Toy users can engage in natural voice-based exchanges in Japanese. The device links wirelessly with smartphones to connect to Docomo's cloud-based natural-language dialogue platform. Tomy will commercially launch the device this autumn.
