Domtar Corporation announced today an investment by Schlumberger in CelluForce, a joint venture between Domtar and FPInnovations that manufactures wood-derived nanocrystalline cellulose . The investment is a collaboration to explore the use of NCC to enhance the productivity of oil and gas wells.
