Doo wop crooner and former front man of The Platters Sonny Turner will perform at Sam's Town Live! on Saturday, January 24. Turner joined The Platters at the age of 19 in 1959 and began touring with the hit doo wop band. In the 1960's, The Platters hit the pop charts with hits "I Love You 1000 Times," "With This Ring" and "Washed Ashore."
