Dow to Cut Acrylate Capacity in TX

Due to market conditions, The Dow Chemical Company has announced that its Dow Performance Monomers business unit will be cutting acrylate capacity by 20 percent at its Deer Park Operations facility in Deer Park, TX. In addition to shutdown of acrylic capacity, other actions are being undertaken to address current market conditions, the company said in a statement issued Wednesday .
