Targeting handheld devices and systems powered from multiple sources, MIC1344 comes in 12-pin, 2 x 2 mm Thin QFN package, provides power ORing for 2 power sources from 2.8–5.5 V, and reduces heat by minimizing voltage drop across power switch. Features such as programmable current-limit for each channel, automatic or manual input selection, and 4 status outputs increase design flexibility. Protections include output-to-input and input-to-input current blocking and thermal shutdown.
