Duke Energy wants bids for 50MW of new solar for N.C. green energy pilot

Duke Energy's latest request for proposals indicates it is making progress in its pilot program to provide clean energy to large industrial customers under negotiated contracts. Duke Energy is seeking proposals to build up to 50 megawatts of solar capacity to provide power for large customers that want to buy renewable energy at contracted rates under Duke's Green Source pilot program.
