(Telecompaper) Dutch consumer VoIP connections grew by 1.1 percent during the fourth quarter of 2013 to reach a total 5.1 million on 31 December, according to Telecompaper's quarterly report about the Dutch fixed telephony market. The decrease of 6.8 percent in PSTN/ISDN lines and 2.5 percent in WLR lines was off-set by the quarterly growth of VoIP connections. This led to a 0.2 percent (12,000 lines) growth for the whole fixed telephony market, ending 2013 with 6.25 million lines. Telecompaper expects the fixed telephony market to continue to grow with a CAGR of 1.3 percent per year until 2018.
