EPA Announces May Biodiesel Production Figures

  WASHINGTON - Biodiesel production reached 135 million gallons for the month of May, according to the latest EPA figures, putting the industry on target to once again exceed annual volume requirements under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). Biodiesel, an EPA-designated Advanced Biofuel that has surpassed RFS targets for two consecutive years, is reported under the Biomass-based Diesel category under the RFS.
