EPA certified Tier 4 Final diesel construction and mining engines from 3.3–46 L features heavy-duty after treatment system that combines Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) device. Also included, heavy-duty cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system reduces NOx emissions and fuel consumption, while Komatsu Variable Geometry Turbocharger (KVGT) system features hydraulic technology for variable control of intake air-flow.
