EPA Recognizes Participants of Food Recovery, WasteWise programs.

U.S. EPA recognized accomplishments of organizations and businesses participating in EPA programs which foster climate footprint reduction, efficiency improvement, community aid, and cost savings through waste reduction. There were 23 awards presented to Food Recovery Challenge participants and endorsers in data-driven and narrative categories. Representing research institutes, retailers, and local governments, number of recognized WasteWise participants totaled 14.
