U.S. EPA announced settlement with E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DuPont) for alleged violations of Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). DuPont will pay $1,853,000 to resolve allegations regarding its failure to submit reports to EPA about potential adverse effects of Imprelis herbicide and selling said product with labeling that did not ensure its safe use.
