As ±15 kV IEC61000 ESD-protected, 5 V-powered, single transceiver, ISL3159E comes in industrial and extended Industrial (-40 to +125°C) temperature ranges and supports data rates to 40 Mbps. ESD Protected ISL3179E is 3.3 V-powered, single transceiver featuring Receiver (Rx) inputs that have full fail-safe design. For both models, bus currents present 1/5 unit load to RS-485 bus to allow up to 160 transceivers on network without violating RS-485 specification's 32 unit load maximum.
