Edison opposes reopening settlement over nuclear plant

Southern California Edison is asking state regulators to reject calls from consumer advocates to reopen a nearly $5 billion settlement over the now-closed San Onofre nuclear power plant. Edison argues in a Thursday filing with the California Public Utilities Commission that reopening the settlement would harm the public.
