Andy Brackett's classic green 1980 CommutaCar, a 2-seat electric with eight lead-acid batteries and a 40-mile range, got interest at the Drive Electric rally in Mandarin. It was parked next to an electric Nissan LEAF and a Chevrolet Volt with an electric motor and gas generator at Thursday's event.
