Elgin food pantry celebrates 4th anniversary

The food pantry Food For Greater Elgin celebrated its fourth anniversary Wednesday with volunteers from John B. Sanfilippo and Son, Inc. greeting and assisting clients and musicians from the Elgin Symphony Orchestra performing for them. Food For Greater Elgin started in 2011, first offering mobile food pantries and then opening at 1553 Commerce Drive, Elgin.
