Eli Lilly will lease the entire third floor of the building at 450 Kendall St. and plans to hire 30 employees there over the next two years. Following in the footsteps of other big pharmaceutical companies staking claims in Kendall Square, drug giant Eli Lilly says it plans to open a new innovation center at 450 Kendall St. Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly will take up the entire third floor of the building, about 17,000 square feet, according to the California-based owner of the building, BioMed Realty.
