The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality announced on Tuesday that 46 communities across the state will split more than $525,000 under the Source Water Protection Grant Program. Of the local recipients, the MHOG Water Authority, which provides service to Marion, Howell, Oceola and Genoa townships, was granted just over $8,500.
