In its study, UNLV's Center for Business and Economic Research suggested the margin tax could bring some benefits to the state, results that differed from other experts who predicted havoc if voters approve the tax at the Nov. 4 election. Question 3 would establish a 2 percent tax on the revenue of Nevada businesses that make more than $1 million per year.
